Recently, Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia, Inc. (KMMG) presented a donation to the Valley United Fund. Each donation to the Valley United Fund helps 22 local agencies. 8/10/2009 KMMG Presents $10,000 To West Ga. Medical Center

On Monday, Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia, Inc. (KMMG) presented a $10,000 donation to West Georgia Medical Center that will be used for the hospital's ongoing expansion project. Specifically, the money will be put toward the hospital's new Women's Center. The center will provide women of all ages the most advanced medical care and technology. This is the second consecutive year that KMMG has supported this project. 6/2/2009 KMMG Donates $10,000 to Fuller Center Project

Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia, Inc. (KMMG) has presented a $10,000 donation to the Chattahoochee Fuller Center Project. The Fuller Center for Housing is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating poverty housing worldwide. The Millard Fuller Legacy Build will take place Aug. 30 through Sept. 4 in Lanett, Ala. Volunteers will build seven new homes and conduct repairs and renovations on numerous other homes in the area. 9/13/2008 KIA SUPPORTS WEST POINT ADVENTURE JAM

Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia, Inc. (KMMG) has given a donation in support of the third annual Adventure Jam at West Point Dam on Sept. 13. Several exciting new challenges and trails have been added this year and are perfect for all levels of racers. This year's event includes 3-5 miles of trekking, 8-10 miles of mountain biking, some river paddling and new mystery events. All of the proceeds go to the West Point River Park, a new green space under development along the Chattahoochee River.
   
6/13/2008 KIA DONATES TO TROUP RECREATION

On Friday, Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia, Inc. (KMMG), made a donation to Troup County Parks and Recreation (TCPR) to help with expenses during the upcoming 9&10 and 11&12-year-olds Dixie Youth World Series tournaments to be held at the George F. Harris Baseball Complex in LaGrange. Opening ceremonies for the World Series will be held on Sunday, Aug. 3. Tournament play begins on Monday, Aug. 4 with both championship games scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 9. Overall, 24 teams from around the country will be in town along with 48 Dixie Youth officials.
   
  6/9/2008 KIA DONATES TO WEST POINT RECREATION

On Monday, Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia, Inc. (KMMG) made a donation to West Point Parks and Recreation/West Point Little League to help with expenses during three upcoming Georgia State Softball Tournaments (the 11-12 tournament, 11-year-old tournament and the 9-10 tournament) being held on July 12-16 in West Point. The donation will also help with the expenses for a 17-18 division tournament later this summer. These tournaments should be a positive for the entire area with hundreds of visitors expected during the week.
   
  6/6/2008 KIA DONATES TO 2008 RELAY FOR LIFE

Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia, Inc. (KMMG) recently made a donation to the American Cancer Society in support of the 2008 Relay For Life event to be held at Rams Stadium in Valley, Ala. beginning on Friday, June 20 at 7 p.m. and lasting until 7 a.m. on Saturday, June 21. Last year, over $96,000 was raised for cancer research and this year's goal is $100,000.
