(West Point, GA.) July 14, 2014–On Friday, Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia, Inc. (KMMG) provided $900,000 in funding to the City of West Point to be used at the city’s discretion.

In addition to today’s $900,000 contribution, KMMG provided $850,000 to the city in 2013, all part of an overall $6.65 million commitment to West Point over the next several years.

“The City of West Point is again thankful for KMMG’s support of the effort to stimulate development within the city’s redevelopment areas,” said Mayor Drew Ferguson. “This contribution illustrates KMMG’s commitment to our citizens and to improving this community for everyone.”
